LOS ANGELES - Former fashion runway model turned adult film bombshell Brigitta Bulgari will meet fans and press at several Hollywood events this weekend, courtesy of Pleasure Productions.
“Brigitta is absolutely stunning, and she is down right nasty,” Pleasure Production Sales Manager Dan Motola told XBiz. “She has been an overnight sensation for Pleasure Productions, and I can't tell you how happy we are to have the exclusive distribution rights [for her Sins Pictures movies]. I am positive that in less than a year, she will be just as popular in the United States as she is all over Europe.
Bulgari, a contract performer for Italian production house Sins Pictures, started off the week with a shoot for High Society magazine. She will be the guest of honor tonight at a meet-and-greet event for the adult industry and press. The party will be held at Basque nightclub in Hollywood at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Hungarian-born starlet will sign copies of her Sins Pictures titles for fans at Hustler Hollywood on the Sunset strip starting at 8 p.m., including her upcoming title, “Solution,” scheduled for release Sept. 29 in retail stores and on the web.
Bulgari was Penthouse Pet of the Month in May 2004 and Playmate of the Year for the Playboy’s Hungarian edition during the same year.
She made headlines throughout Europe last year when she streaked onto the field during a Seria B soccer match, reportedly thrilling thousands of excited fans.
Bulgari was arrested for “obscene actions in a public place” and taken to police headquarters, where she posed naked with police officers. In fairness, she wasn’t totally naked — she did wear a neck tie.
The free publicity catapulted Bulgari to a new level of fame, especially in Italy. Upon returning to Europe, Bulgari will be featured on an Italian television show, where she will interact with viewers on the air through live text chat.
Pleasure Production is the exclusive U.S. distributor for all Sins Pictures DVDs and is sponsoring Bulgari’s stateside visit. The company also will sell Bulgari’s 2006 calendar when it becomes available in October.
