AEBN’s RealTouch Makes Its Debut

LAS VEGAS — AEBN officials said late Friday they were pleased with the response from Adult Entertainment Expo attendees over the company’s new video-haptic device, RealTouch, which officially released today.

"Everyone who has had a demonstration is floored by what it can do,” said AEBN's Jerry Anders, speaking from AEBN’s booth at the Las Vegas show. “We've heard nothing but positive feedback from attendees. The response has been overwhelming,"

RealTouch uses haptic technology along with encoded content from AEBN’s vast adult library.

“RealTouch creates a true virtual sex experience that syncs with the performer on screen,” AEBN’s Jim McAnally said. “You’re not just watching the movie, you’re part of the action.”

Encoding films for RealTouch is a labor-intensive endeavor, and one that speaks to the level of sophistication in the device, according to McAnally.

“It’s very time-intensive for our encoding team because we program frame by frame, every second of detail,” he said. “For every 15 minutes of video, it takes eight hours to encode.”

AEBN already has a stable of stars whose content is ready for the device, including Ashlynn Brooke, Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey, Jada Fire, Linda Lovelace, Gianna Michaels and Amy Fisher.

Titan, Raging Stallion, Treasure Island, Falcon, SX Video and Prodigy Pictures are some of the gay adult studios that will be represented for customers looking for a virtual gay experience.

AEBN is selling RealTouch for $149.95.
