HotMovies.com Offering Girlfriends Films Exclusives

PHILADELPHIA — Online video-on-demand provider HotMovies.com has announced that it will offer an exclusive VOD pre-release of two highly anticipated titles from lesbian-content production company Girlfriends Films.

The first of the exclusives will be Girlfriends Films' recent release "Backstage Girls" next week, to be followed in January with the first volume of "Mother/Daughter Exchange Club."

“No question, our customers can’t get enough of Girlfriends’ movies,” HotMovies.com Director of Business Development James Cybert said. “In the six-month VOD waiting window after DVDs hit the street, customers definitely make themselves heard about getting the movie added to HotMovies.com. We’re very excited to bring them new releases, months ahead of time, of two of Girlfriends’ top-selling titles.”

"Backstage Girls" tells the fictional story of life on tour with the all-girl real-life hard rock band Kill Slowly and their girl groupies. Kill Slowly recorded the soundtrack for the production, which features Madelyn, Elexis Monroe, Lily Paige, Darryl Hanah, Ginger Lee, Joelean and Bobbi Starr.

"Mother/Daughter Exchange Club," which features Marie McCray, Magdalene, Natasha Lenin, Alyssa Hall, Autum Moon, Dia Zerva and Hayden Night, will make its HotMovies.com, VOD debut Jan. 7.

HotMovies.com and Girlfriends Films began their association in 2006.

"We still love our relationship with HotMovies,” said Dan O’Connell, president of Girlfriends Films. “We take pride in consistently being a top studio there and, just for the holidays, we wanted to give our HotMovies.com customers the chance to see our latest movies a little sooner than usual.”
