Sureflix Expands VOD Service with SplashShots

TORONTO — Sureflix Digital Distribution has debuted a pay-per-minute VOD website, SplashShots.com, following a soft launch earlier this autumn.

SplashShots is an extension of pay-per-view site Maleflixxx, the company’s flagship brand.

Sureflix touts the new service as “a viewing experience in which the consumer never leaves the home page.”

Amenities include “a built-in video player, and a side menu displaying the hottest titles on the web plus exclusive content, superior graphics and a streamlined user interface all in a pay-per-minute platform.”

“We are thrilled to be offering consumers an innovative pay-per-minute solution. Consumers want to find the hottest content on the web in the fewest clicks possible and SplashShots offers exactly that,” Sureflix President Eric Johnson said.

In October, Sureflix was presented with the 2008 Business of the Year award at the Free Speech Coalition annual fundraising gala.

The company recently earned an XBIZ Awards nomination for VOD Company of the Year, and Maleflixxx was cited as GLBT Web Company of the Year.
