"This wasn't really anything I'd been planning, but after reading in a press release I no longer had distribution I felt it was the right thing to do for my company," Simone said. "This way I have more control over where my product is going, pricing, and other details."
Simone has said that she has not ruled out going with another distribution company in the future.
"Sherri at GF Distribution took me on when no one else would. She helped me build my line, now with 16 titles, and she helped me build up my name," Simone said. "I am grateful for everything she's done, but times change — and this business has been through a lot of changes in this year alone."
