EMM to Launch Worldwide Photo/Video Agency

LOS ANGELES — Veteran adult entertainment industry photographer Dr. X is launching a full-service photo and video agency with representatives in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Louisville, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Tampa, as well as London, Paris, Tokyo, Osaka and Melbourne, Australia.

Beginning in November, EMM will be available to shoot “almost anything,” according to Dr. X, from red carpet reports and behind-the-scenes features on major productions to promotional clips and web site content.

“Recently, we were shooting Shy Love on stage in North Hollywood, Rob Zombie in San Diego, five Vivid stars on stage in Baltimore, Nikki Benz on set with Cherry Boxxx Pictures, Tom Cruise promoting “War of the Worlds” and the BET Awards almost all at the same time,” Dr. X said, adding, “It’s been getting busier ever since.”

In addition to offering photographic and video services on a for-hire basis, the EMM Agency will maintain an extensive database of images spanning 20 years. The archive, which can be accessed through the company’s website, features both adult and mainstream personalities and events from the film and music industries.

By combining libraries of material from all facets of the entertainment world, EMM will offer one-stop shopping for editors and publicists seeking photos for publications and promotional materials.

“Our libraries include inventories of all performers, special events, on-set photos and rare, at-home, exclusive shoots, [as well as] red carpet appearances, candid photos, onstage, backstage and beyond,” Dr. X said.

In addition to a constantly growing inventory of images, complete model sets also are available. The agency also plans to assemble a bullpen of writers who will be available to cover industry events on an ad-hoc basis.
