Head O State Dildo Sells Out, New Shipment on the Way

SAN FRANCISCO — A dildo with the likeness of President-elect Barack Obama sold out in a matter of weeks and a second shipment of the sex toy is on its way.

More than 1,000 Head O State dildos, released and shipped on Halloween day, took just under two weeks to sell out, James Rainey of Millennium Marketing, which helped bring the product to market, told XBIZ.

In response, the marketer said that a shipment of about 1,200 was on its way. The Head O State was sold exclusively at first through San Francisco-based Ozam Group LLC’s website, HeadOState.com.

“It took on a life of its own,” Rainey said. “I knew it’s catchy for the novelty aspect but I didn’t know it was going to be that hot.”

Rainey, whose company also markets the Cock Star line of male enhancement pills, said there has been some backlash from some about the Head O State via angry emails and phone calls from people who thought the Head O State was in bad taste.

“People thought it was a dig on Obama,” Rainey said, adding that Sasha Ozam, the owner of Ozam Group, “did this as a pro-Obama statement.”

The new shipment will arrive sometime after the Thanksgiving weekend, he said.
