"The AEBN VOD Awards are always one of the highlights of our year," AEBN's Suzann Knudsen said. "We can't wait to see the nominees, because there are always surprises. We all have our personal favorites, but since these really are picked by the online viewers, we don't always know what's going to show up in the final results."
Since 2006, AEBN has recognized the most popular films and stars of the year — as chosen by the viewing habits of the fans who visit the company's global network — through the VOD Awards. Nominations are based on sales of viewing minutes in the theaters in one calendar year, decided with a precise, in-house accounting system. The awards cover a number of genres, and include recognitions for the Performer of the Year and Best Newcomer. Special honors are also given for Lifetime Achievement and Studio of the Year.
Clips from all nominated movies will be available for the next week on the exclusive AEBN VOD Awards channel at PornoTube and winners will be announced in January.
