Marco Banderas Attends American Music Awards After-Party

BEVERLY HILLS — XCartel performer and director Marco Banderas is trying to break into the music industry, and the best indication of his progress thus far came over the weekend.

Lisa DeMarco, Banderas' wife, captured the night for XBIZ in her words:

Following a party at the swanky Aqua Lounge near Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, where Marco Banderas performed “Porn Life,” the first single from his forthcoming debut album, he and his formidable entourage of L.A. Direct models — about 15 strong — headed to an American Music Awards after-party.

Once there, they walked the red carpet, DeMarco said. And although Banderas has been a singer for 10 years and by-and-large dismissed because he’s a porn star, on this night mainstream media and the adult industry both paid attention.

A film crew from Los Angeles Spanish-language TV network KRCA Channel 62 followed Banderas from the moment he and his entourage left his San Fernando Valley home, DeMarco told XBIZ. Another program that dispatched a crew was Los Angeles En Vivo, a news variety show in Spanish.

Banderas will soon shoot scenes to edit into the hardcore version of the “Porn Life” video, DeMarco said.
