Pacific Sun Rises on U.K.’s Tacklebox Productions

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Pacific Sun Entertainment has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Tacklebox Productions that will bring the British company’s wares to the U.S. market for the first time.

Tacklebox is an offshoot of European hetero adult company Pumpkin Film Productions and Pumpkin Media.

“We are glad to welcome Tacklebox Productions and Pumpkin Media to our family of producers,” PacSun CEO Pritam Sinha said.

The deal covers wholesale-retail distribution as well as video-on-demand, pay-per-view and all other distribution outlets.

Initial titles to reach the U.S. market include the “Fantasy Fucks!” series directed by John “Moggy” Mason and produced by Pumpkin Media CEO Phil Barry.

Recent titles include “Fantasy Fucks: Dreams Can Cum True,” “Fantasy Fucks 2: Masters & Servants” and “Fantasy Fucks 3: Dirty Professions.”

PacSun noted that Cathy Barry, Phil Barry’s wife, is an “award-winning glamour model who cameos in ‘Fantasy Fucks: Dreams Can Cum True’ as a dental nurse. In the U.K. Cathy Barry has a huge fan base, including thousands of gay men, who love her for her larger-than-life personality and not just for her larger-than-life breasts.”

Last month, Pumpkin Media announced an expansion of its operations into the U.K.’s gay adult market. Mason additionally expressed a desire to reach the U.S.

He told XBIZ in an earlier story that Tacklebox had “more than 70 titles in its catalog, as well as thousands and thousands of unreleased hours of footage culled from their various websites.”

Tacklebox isn’t the first U.K. production house signed to a distro deal with PacSun. As reported by XBIZ, the distributor added British content producer Seal Productions to its roster in early August.

Purchasing guidelines for retailers are online at PacSun’s official wholesale website.
