Blue Blood’s Amelia G. Calls Sasha Grey a Star

CYBERSPACE — On counterculture lifestyle webzine BlueBlood.net, Amelia G’s article “Sasha Grey Is a Star and Not a Crossover Star” credits the adult star for her success at a young age and discusses her upcoming mainstream movie, “The Girlfriend Experience.”

Amelia G writes that the casting of the film is not the mainstreaming of porn and with punk icon writer/actor/director Dick Rude on board, describing the film as “mainstream” is not a compliment.

Lux Alptraum picked up the story at Fleshbot and writes, "the mainstream press may have hailed Sasha Grey a crossover star, but Amelia G's not so sure she agrees. Perhaps instead of drawing a line in the sand between porn and ‘mainstream’ media, we should throw out all the labels and just recognize Sasha as a star, period. Oh, and she's also thrown in a gallery of the lovely Sasha, which definitely makes her argument all the more compelling."

BlueBlood.net, the free entertainment portal side of Blue Blood also recently featured articles regarding “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” and a behind-the-scenes look at being an extra in “Pirates II.”
