"They say that a box cover sells a video. In this case the title sells the video," Girlfriends Films President Dan O'Connell told XBIZ. "We've sold a lot of copies and we have Vol. 2 in editing now. We also have a website that people think is the real thing. People want to join."
The idea for the series came from a one-sentence suggestion on the Girlfriends Films fan forum: "How about a mother and daughter double date with their friends and exchange daughters for the night?" The author received $500 for the contribution.
"We moved on the idea because once it's on the forum, it's there for everybody to see. We turned it around in six weeks," O'Connell said.
The first volume, available now, stars Cindy and Marie McCray, Magdalene and Natasha Lenin, Alyssa Hall and Autum Moon, and Dia Zerva and Hayden Night as the mother-daughter teams. A second volume is planned for November release.
