Web Series 'Dirty Tricks' Goes to DVD

NEW YORK CITY — Gay adult web series “Dirty Tricks” has been released on DVD. The comic-erotic series earned a brief moment of pop culture infamy earlier this year when performer “Crazy” James Zinkland was cast on the CBS reality series “Big Brother 9.”

Dirty Boy Video and NakedSword.com partnered to present the series, which they termed a “gay porn sitcom.” The two-disc set includes all 12 episodes of the series, as well as bloopers, outtakes and bonus footage.

Performers in the series include Damon DeMarco, Wolf Hudson and Hunter James.

Zinkland shot the series several months prior to his casting on “Big Brother 9.” His participation was revealed by gossip site TMZ.com.

“I had sex with dudes,” Zinkland told a reporter following the conclusion of the series. “It doesn’t blow my mind, and it shouldn’t blow your mind, you know? I just did it on tape, you know? And I did it in an environment that was conducive [to] where I didn’t have to worry about a lot of things going wrong.”

“James was a natural-born performer. As soon as he walked into our offices, he was cast on the spot,” series producer Andy Fair said.

The plot of “Dirty Tricks” revolved around a gay bar of the same name and the erotic escapades of its patrons and employees.

NakedSword continues to stream the entire series via video-on-demand at a dedicated website.

Dirty Boy Video is managing wholesale-retail distribution.
