Maleflixxx Donates to TitanMen/Folsom Fund

TORONTO — As part of its Community Giving program, Maleflixxx presented a $1,000 donation to TitanMen/Folsom Fund. The donation was presented Sept. 28 at the 2008 Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco by Maleflixxx Founder and CTO Eric Schannen.

"Maleflixxx is always pleased to donate to organizations that are continually giving back to the public and TitanMen/Folsom Fund does exactly that," Schannen said.

The TitanMen/Folsom Fund was established in 2007 to provide grants directly to organizations focusing on gay men’s health issues. The fund, a collaboration between TitanMen and Folsom Street Events, supports nonprofit organizations specializing in gay men's health and education across the U.S. and will be wholly administered by Folsom Street Events, which also will match this money with additional national grants. In 2007 the TitanMen/Folsom fund donated more than $27,000, and hopes to top $30,000 for 2008.

"With budgets being slashed all over the country for nonprofits and HIV/AIDS on the rise, particularly in young gay men of color, it is even more important for leaders in the community to stand up and lend a hand," Titan Media owner Bruce Cam said. "MaleFlixxx has proven time and time again that they support the gay community, both in deed and in action, and their donation is greatly appreciated.

The contribution to the Titan Men/Folsom Fund was motivated by a recent survey Maleflixxx conducted of its partners to find out what organizations they support.
