Director: Matthias Von Fistenberg

Cast: Danny Fox, Demetrius, Brock Hatcher, Hank Dutch, Adam Faust, Dimitri Santiago, Jon Matthews and Rick.

Dark Alley Media is no stranger to controversy — and in “Passio,” director Matthias Von Fistenberg goes after the biggest dog of all: Jesus Christ.

Von Fistenberg plays St. Matthew, so in a way, this is “The Gospel According to St. Matthias.”

The ad campaign for the film featuring Danny Fox (as Jesus) standing with a group of His disciples caused a flurry of publicity from religious outlets. After viewing the film, I’m sure many are still on their knees, uh, praying.

The final scene with Fox on the cross is sheer sexual blasphemy. As Fox hangs tied to the cross, priest Adam Faust ravages his hard dick, flogs it with a cat o’nine tails, slaps it and sucks it before he lets him down.

The Last Supper (with six men instead of 13) turns into a salacious orgy and a pairing between Jon Matthews (as Pontius Pilate) and Demetrius is a sizzler.

Gregorian chants inundate the score and the art direction is outstanding.

Von Fistenberg does a fine job with this taboo topic and the most important thing in the video — the sex — does not disappoint.
