Clea (Gaultier) is a young woman who has aspirations of dancing for the Paris Ballet. The auditions are grueling and the ballet is notoriously difficult to get into, with applicants being permitted to audition only twice in their lifetime. When Clea injures her ankle during her first audition, her confidence is shattered and she abandons her dreams of performing in the Paris Ballet and finds herself dancing in an upscale gentlemen’s club instead. Will she ever see the ballet stage again or is she destined to spend the rest of her dancing years gracing the stages of nightclubs?

Herve Bodilis is one of Dorcel’s most prolific directors (he’s an XBIZ Award winner) and I was excited to finally see one of his films. Herve does a nice job telling a compelling story and he gets some really steamy sexual performances from his cast in the process. One thing I must commend Herve on is utilizing the non-sex talents of his cast. This movie is about dancing and was a natural fit for Dorcel contract star Clea Gaultier as she was a professional ballet dancer prior to becoming an adult performer. There’s an audition sequence at the beginning of the movie where Clea gets to show off her ballet skill and while short, it is very, very nice.

Then later on, there’s another quick sequence in the strip club where Clea is pole dancing slightly off-camera (really its just her hips, ass and thighs in the frame) and she showcases some fantastically erotic dance moves that I can only assume benefitted from her years of formal training. I wish more directors would showcase the talents of their cast in this manner. This movie also marks a distinct step away from the mold of many other Dorcel films I’ve seen in that it forgoes the use of narration to tell the story in favor of spoken dialogue either by the performers themselves (like Amirah Adara) or via localization. I really enjoy hearing the European performers speak, even if they have thick accents. I wish more Dorcel films would follow this pattern.

As for the cast, Clea delivers her usual solid performance and I have to say she is quickly becoming a standard for me when it comes to conveying emotion without speaking. There’s a scene where she’s riding on a bus that is beautifully shot and the pure hopelessness and despair her character is feeling is so plain on her face the audience can’t help but feel sympathy for her. Clea is so good at that stuff and character development like that helps the audience connect with said character, which in turn makes that character’s sex scenes carry much more impact than simply watching holes get stuffed. Lastly, I really liked the way Herve juxtaposed the elegant, posh world of ballet competition to the seedy world of strip competition. He presents the audience with two very different worlds, but as the film progresses, the audience comes to realize the two worlds aren't as different as they seem.

As impressive as the non-sex stuff is, we are here to see some fucking as well and this movie doesn’t disappoint. After a tough audition, Clea calls her fuck buddy Kristof over to blow off some steam. We get the scene setup through a phone call from Clea to Kristof as she’s headed home, so by the time he gets there, there’s no messing around; the two just dive into each other. Clea really looks great in this scene in her transparent black lace bra and panties, which create a wonderful contrast against her skin. She shows her pleasure plainly on her face throughout the scene and when the time comes for anal, Kristof plows her nicely and Clea revels in the ecstasy of the nastiness of her wantoness. It’s a passionate scene that’s just naughty enough to make the audience raise their eyebrows. There’s a particularly erotic moment where Clea grinds her naked pussy on Kristof’s naked cock without putting him inside her that is a spectacular tease.

The audience is treated to a typical strip club fantasy threeway between house girls Paulina Soul and Jennifer Amilton as they give “important customer” Alberto Blanco a private dance. I liked the fact that the strobe lights played across the bodies of the performers. That gave the scene a very authentic feel yet was surprisingly not distracting. It was really cool how Jennifer sipped her champagne while Paulina rode Alberto like a steed in cowgirl as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Jennifer then gives up her pussy to Alberto from behind while Paulina licks her clit from underneath in a highly arousing 69 combo. The entire scene really caters to the male stripper fuck fantasy and I was impressed. There’s even some narrative exposition with club owner Ricki Mancini watching the action from his phone to make sure his girls are taking care of the customer. And a final note, Jennifer can ride! There’s a second threeway in the film featuring Clea’s fellow ballet audition hopeful and friend Amirah Adara who shows the jury her full “talent” in an effort to get accepted to the prestigious troupe. The ballet’s lead audition judge Rico Simmons and his assistant Antho Toto give Amirah a real working over. Rico is aggressive and slimy as he uses his influence to coax Amirah into a filthy fuck fest, but to her credit, Amirah enjoys the encounter just as much as they do. Antho pounds her hard while she slurps up Rico’s shaft and things eventually lead to a raucous DP. I have to point out an extremely arousing sequence where Amirah is on her back, legs spread, head lying in Antho’s lap as Rico fingers her pussy and ass simultaneously while Antho himself strokes his cock next to her face. Amirah’s vulnerability here is a thing of beauty and I’m glad Bodilis chose to alternate between close ups of Adara’s sexy bits and face with wide shots showing her entire body. It is my favorite sexual moment in the movie. And when Rico finally decides to take Amirah’s ass it is the exact payoff the audience was primed for.

Head stripper Tiffany Leiddi romps with boyfriend and club owner Ricki Mancini in a scene that had just a tad too much red lighting for me. Honestly, had this scene been accompanied by some sexy music, the lighting would have been great, but without it, it was a bit of a miss for me because it didn’t carry the mood as strong as I would have liked. Still, Tiffany looks fabulous in her sheer camisole and matching stockings and Mancini gives it to her like a champ. He works her over on his plush leather couch (which has probably seen its fair share of private fuckings) and sends her to multiple orgasms as her luscious tits bounce luridly about his face.

The sex culminates with Clea getting an opportunity to garner a second chance at her ballet audition due to her exquisite club dancing catching the eye of ballet leader Rico Simmons and his wife Anissa Kate. I liked this movie because I liked this story. The cast all do a great job (Amirah Adara and Clea Gaultier especially) and the visual quality of the film itself was quite high. I really liked the dual story that the feverish competition in ballet can be just as catty, seedy an amoral as the professional jealousy that occurs in strip clubs. There’s a good variety of sex and a lot of it is filmed in a way that makes it quite intimate which I found enjoyable. I watched this movie on DorcelVision.com, so I was not able to view any of the special features.
