Rezervoir Doggs XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody

At first thought, Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs” isn’t exactly porn parody material. It’s a little too violent and there aren’t any obvious spots for sex scenes (except for the scene with Mr. Pink and a prostitute) and no important female character to lust after. Director General Stone provides a novel solution, transforming the all-guy crew from Tarantino’s debut movie into an all-girl crew – the Misters become Misses, albeit women with bad attitudes and an apparent fondness for phallic symbols (that would be the guns).

The women show their love of actual phalluses as well, tackling cock in the flashbacks that provide the backstory to a simple jewel heist gone wrong. Kimberly Kane is awesome as Miss Pink, handling her dialogue with panache and leering with perverted intent at the male prostitute she hires as a way to pass the time. Chanel Preston doesn’t exactly look sexy caked in blood as Miss Orange, the undercover cop who somehow managed to work her way into the heist but she cleans up well enough in a flashback before showing how dirty she can be after getting picked up by a guy in the gym.

Overall, this is a faithful parody that stays true to the original story but tweaks it just enough to allow for the added attraction of sex. The dialogue, arguably the most important element of a Tarantino movie, is lifted largely from the original, and the cast handles it well for the most part.
