Stripped: A Confessional

This reality-based DVD starts with artistically edited black-and-white footage of a dejected "Emily" (Raven Alexis) telling the camera that she is sexually unfulfilled, having married young and never been with another man than her sexually selfish husband.

"I haven't had an orgasm in at least a year," she whimpers, in a rush of admissions. ""I want somebody to take me and make me feel things I've never felt before. I want to cum. I want to feel loved."

She stands in front of a picture window, fingering her slit and rocking her hips as she brings herself to orgasm before being approached by a naked Allen W. Their sex is initially tentative, building in intensity and excitement to the facial pop.

The interview/masturbation/sex scene scenario is repeated through the DVD, although the interpersonal dynamics change. Czech import Jennifer Dark complains that she's used by her poker-playing husband Joey Brass, who bets the money she earns as a stripper at the tables, and then we see them together. "Lisa" (Ashley Roberts) and "Patrick" (Justin R), dealing with post-partum blues, want their sex to be like it used to be. In the scene that follows, he has wood trouble and she walks out. A title says they filed for divorce the next week.

Following up on scene one, a now-liberated Raven Alexis says she wants to explore women right after office manager Dia Zerva says she thinks you have to be open to sexual opportunities when they appear. Their intercut solos take place on the same chair before they get together, with Zerva firmly taking the lead by tying Alexis to the bed and blindfolding her. Alexis later takes the upper hand with a strap-on. In the closer, dancer "Celeste" (Kiara Diane) tells of meeting a guy at her club then, after her solo, gets down-and-dirty with Mr. Pete in a two-pop scene. Director/photographer/editor Richards has a deft touch with camera framing and with performers, delivering a watch able and interesting product.
