Anyone who knows me can tell you I’m not one for flashy things. I do appreciate them, however, and was reminded of my affinity for flashy things as I made small talk with Alec Helmy in the valet line after the XBIZ Awards show and admired the nice cars.
February was a big month for updates on social networks. Twitter updated their algorithm and is talking about expanding to 10,000 characters. Twitter added gif search. Facebook added “reactions” to their like function.
For my generation of millennials, Women’s History Month brings back memories of college research papers and grade school art projects. Like many government-designated yearly events, we might think briefly of the honored, such as Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie.
During the past decade, I have had the honor and privilege of speaking at tradeshows across the U.S. and Canada with some of the brightest entrepreneurs and many respected legal practitioners.
Recently I was honored by XBIZ as 2016 Businesswoman of the Year. It was a fun evening and a very gratifying moment for me. Getting to this point in my career took dedication and persistence and wouldn’t have been possible without lots of support from both my SegPay team and my family.

This was a huge victory for adult performers, and the adult industry in general. However, the battle is far from over.
Doctors receive very little sex education as part of their professional training. Most commonly, MDs get a day or two (about 10 hours) of sex ed. Even when they are very well versed on the reproduction system (in the case of GYNs) they often won’t be provided information on other issues such as desire, behavior and pleasure.
