DatingGold Signs On As ASACP Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — ASACP has announced its newest corporate sponsor, dating and webcam affiliate program DatingGold.

“By working meticulously to be compliant with ASACP’s stringent membership requirements for dating sites, DatingGold has really stepped up to show their dedication to protecting children," ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine told XBIZ. "We are excited to have them as a sponsor.”

Qualifying as an approved ASACP member or sponsor requires a company to demonstrate its adherence to best practices and a code of ethics. Dating sites with user-generated content are not required to follow the same 2257 regulations as adult content sites, so the requirements for a dating site to become an ASACP sponsor are more intensive than those for other companies.

“DatingGold is committed to the safety and protection of children and is a proud supporter of the efforts of ASACP," DatingGold CEO Allan Henning said. "Both organizations share a common goal in protecting the children and we felt that working with ASACP would be in the best interest of everyone.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
