SiteGalore Website Building Tool Chosen By Tucows

San Jose, CA – Akmin, the leading provider of SiteGalore (www.sitegalore.com), a private branded online website building software for Web hosts, ISPs, ASPs and other service providers, has announces that Tucows has launched Website Builder, their wholesale version of the SiteGalore service to the Tucows channel of over 6,000 ISPs and Web hosting companies worldwide.

SiteGalore was selected by Tucows after an extensive evaluation process which spanned nearly six months and involved detailed analysis of over a dozen leading website building products available today.

“Using a single installation of SiteGalore’s multi-level private branded reseller edition, large organizations like Tucows can empower thousands of service providers to fully private brand the application including the brand name, email communications, complete user interface and most importantly serve it from the service provider’s own domain name, with absolutely no installation required at the service provider’s end. Service providers also retain full control over the FTP location where the end user websites as published,” says SiteGalore Vice President of Marketing, K. Sathya.

SiteGalore worked closely with Tucows to provide functionality they needed to meet the unique demands of their wholesale channel. Tucows has integrated this service into its provisioning platform, OpenSRS. Service providers are able to choose from four packages to meet the needs of individual consumers to mid-size businesses and to offer Website Builder in conjunction with other Tucows services.

Kim Phelan, Product Manager at Tucows, said “We recognize that our service providers need to continually add value to their hosting packages. By adding the Tucows Website Builder powered by SiteGalore, to our portfolio, we enable our service providers to be more competitive. SiteGalore met our requirements of usability, robust feature set, and most importantly a wholesale focus.”
