Pornhub Opens Online Casino

BURBANK, Calif. — Combining sexy live dealers and card games is seemingly the right chemistry for a website.

MindGeek’s Pornhub division this week officially opened Pornhub Casino, an online gambling venue where participants can play slots, roulette, blackjack and strip poker.

According to Pornhub Vice President Corey Price, via the Huffington Post, the idea of a carnal-themed casino was a long time coming for the adult site.

"Our users know a thing or two about having a good time online, so when a casino company approached us with an opportunity to blend gambling with porn, we had to consider it seriously," he told the Post.

"We use webcams so everyone can see each other and speak to one another as though you would in a real setting. So yes, people who play will be visible."

The dealers, who are mostly Costa Rica residents, occasionally flash to players, and a win on the slot machine results in a quick porn scene.

Occasionally well-known porn stars like Monique Alexander or Dani Daniels are expected to work the roulette wheel or blackjack tables.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for us to enter an industry that is experiencing exponential growth and we’re excited to make our mark," Price said. "At Pornhub we are constantly looking at ways to penetrate additional industries, grow our global community and expand our brand recognition.”

Online gambling in the U.S. remains unregulated in most states despite the fact that there is no federal law that makes playing illegal online. Some states allow it, and some do not.

XBIZ, which is based in California, for example, could not play the games but could see the dealers ready to serve those who could.

Where online gambling is legal, Pornhub Casino takes deposits via credit or debit card to get started. Currently it doubles first deposits up to $400.
