In the film, Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks play Zack and Miri, two friends who ask their buddies to make an adult movie to get them out of debt. The film also features frequent Smith co-star Jason Mewes, Ricky Mabe and Jeff Anderson.
In his blog, Smith said of Rogen and Banks, "The roles fit them like gloves. Shit, better than gloves: the roles fit them like condoms. Like custom-made condoms, even."
Lords was the centerpiece of a scandal when it was discovered that the adult movies she had made in the late '80s were shot when she was under 18, leading to the films and videos being declared "child pornography" and pulled from the market. Now in her 30s, she is a mainstream actress and singer.
Morgan, who has been in adult since 2001, has gotten substantial mainstream exposure lately, mostly on HBO, where she has been featured in their six-part series "Pornucopia" and late-night specials "Katie Morgan, A Porn Star Revealed" and "Katie Morgan on Sex Toys."
"Zack and Miri make a Porno," a Weinstein Company/Dimension Films production, begins shooting this week. It is expected to be released in the fall of this year.
