VAN NUYS, Calif. — All-black production studio Onyx is the newest member of Pure Play Media’s distribution operation.
Onyx is one of the first studios to join Pure Play since the company's recent planned expansion announcement.
Onyx’s productions have featured some of the industry’s leading black female performers including Jada Fire, Misty Stone, Monique, Janet Jacme and more in titles such as “Ghetto Booty,” “Big Black Ass,” and “Magic Mouthfuls.”
“We are so excited to welcome Onyx to Pure Play,” said Bill Rix, Pure Play Media’s national sales manager. “Onyx’s urban-centered content brings something unique and in-demand to the Pure Play table.”

Onyx joins more than 20 production companies currently under Pure Play’s wing, including Naughty America, Homegrown Video, Private Media, The SCORE Group, Swank Digital, Seymore Butts’ Home Movies, and Porno Dan’s Immoral Productions.
