Montfort, 53, was a stills photographer and longtime director for Hustler Video.
“It was hard news to take,” Hustler Video Creative Director Drew Rosenfeld said. “He wasn’t just a director, he was a good friend and I will miss him terribly. Richard always had these fun and crazy ideas. He was so passionate about everything he did.
“Richard Monfort should be remembered for his creativity and love for this industry,” Rosenfeld said. “We were lucky to have the opportunity to share this time with him and work with him. He will be greatly missed.”
The service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Hollywood Hills, in the Church of the Hills, this Saturday, July 18, at 9:30 a.m. Attendees are requested to bring flowers to the service.
Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is located at 6300 Forest Lawn Dr. in Los Angeles.
