Stormy Daniels's 2nd 'Listening Tour' Starts With Broadcast

NEW ORLEANS — Adult performer/director Stormy Daniels starts a second "listening tour" in Louisiana today as she considers a candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

Daniels will appear today on "Politics With A Punch," hosted by radio personality Jeff Crouere on WGSO 990 AM in Slidell, La.. The show begins at 8 p.m. CDT, and the show's panelists will include Gennifer Flowers, Ken Ferguson, New Orleans news anchor Liz Reyes, publisher Chad Rogers of TheDeadPelican.Com, columnist Chris Rose, and comedian Mike Strecker. The show will be broadcast live from the Cricket Club in New Orleans.

On Thursday, Daniels will visit Barney's Police And Hunting Supplies in Lafayette, where she will speak with the owner and guests before getting a tour of the facilities. Friday in Shreveport, Daniels will spend the morning at the Southfield Grill and end the day as guest of honor at Roosters' 4th of July Music Fest, Rally, And Poker Run in Delhi. Daniels is scheduled to speak to the audience and introduce bands between 4-5 p.m.

Daniels held a two-day listening tour in May, making appearances in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, followed by the formation of an exploratory committee to evaluate a possible campaign.

If Daniels chooses to run, she will be trying to win the Senate seat of first-term Republican David Vitter, a conservative who was implicated in the investigation of "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey last year. Daniels has not declared a party affiliation.
