HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — XR Brands’ Tom of Finland Pleasure Tools received a unique showcase in some of the country’s most notable news and culture media, following the release of “Tom House: Tom of Finland in Los Angeles,” a photography book that offers an immersive glimpse into the home of artist Touko Laaksonen, a.k.a. “Tom of Finland.”

The book was published by Rizzoli and edited by Michael Reynolds.

In several front-page photo galleries sits KAKE’s Cock, a hand-sculpted limited edition rendition of one of Tom of Finland’s most famous characters, displayed with other artifacts from his life and career. KAKE’s penis was one of the biggest that Tom of Finland ever penciled, and was chosen as the centerpiece for the artist’s signature sex toy and accessories collection made by XR Brands.

According to XR Brands’ Director of Sales Rebecca Weinberg, the hyper-realistic rendering gave fans a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece that remains as much a work of art as an object of pleasure.

“KAKE was one of the most featured characters in Tom of Finland’s body of work and epitomized the ultimate Tom of Finland man: hyper-masculine, proudly uninhibited, and hung with an enormous and perfectly proportioned penis,” Weinberg explains. “It was imperative that we capture KAKE’s member with intricate detail and it’s exciting to see it showcased in so many Tom of Finland tributes. We worked hard with Tom of Finland Foundation to nail the design and we’re all so proud of the result — and the national media attention it’s getting!”

KAKE’s Cock, along with more of Tom of Finland’s work, can be seen online in V Magazine, GQ Magazine, and the New York Times.

KAKE’s Cock is made of solid silver-toned silicone and packaged in an acrylic display box with a copy of the Tom of Finland print from which it was sculpted. Other accessories in the Tom of Finland Pleasure Tools collection include bondage gear, anal plugs and massagers, and specially formulated lubricants. Most are packaged with branded dog tags and locks.
