The new store is designed to be more customer-friendly, with wider aisles stocked with merchandise such as DVDs, novelties, lingerie and gag gifts. It is the third outlet in the Connecticut-based VIP adult chain, with other locations in Orange and Hartford.
“Our approach to sexuality is one of respect, openness, humor, communication and responsibility,” VIP store manager Rick Lederman said. “This third location represents the success of our philosophy, which is the basis of any retail business — good prices, quality, selection and customer service.”
VIP General Manager Gary Porter said the new store will strengthen the company’s brand name both inside and outside of the state.
“We’ve come to realize that Very Intimate Pleasures is as much of a brand as Cal Exotics, Doc Johnson, Topco and Pipedreams,” Porter said.
The new store celebrated its grand opening with a party for 150 of their loyal customers from the Hartford and Orange stores.
