Crescendo Vibe Gets Evening Standard Write-up

Crescendo Vibe Gets Evening Standard Write-up

LONDON — The Evening Standard of London wrote up a review today of the new Crescendo vibrator, which works with an app.

The Crescendo is designed to take the form of the user’s body rather than being a fixed shape. Users can individually control the vibrations of Crescendo’s six motors, increasing and decreasing the intensity and patterns or create their own custom vibes with the toy’s app.

Crescendo is also completely waterproof and wireless — charging inductively on its own charging pod that can double as a smartphone charger.

“We were inspired by a phone,” said Soumyadip Rakshit, co-founder and CEO of MysteryVibe, which created Crescendo. “The Nokia Morph. We saw a video that shows a phone that wraps into a watch and then unwraps to be a tablet. We thought it was awesome technology, and that we could use that.”

Rakshit said that he needed to get technology editors and reviewers on board for the vibe to take off.

“We take it to mainstream conferences — we launched at Tech Crunch Disrupt in New York,” Rakshit told the Evening Standard. “Building the brand in an open, positive and honest way is better for the industry and for the public.”
