So far, the company has produced items called George Dubya Tush, The Smell Gibson (Bravefart Edition) and Parass Hilton.
“I always try to find interesting ways to make a living,” Celebritybuttplugs.com founder David Gaz told XBIZ. “We actually started the process a couple of months ago, but our website went live a week ago.”
Gaz, who previously owned a photography business and directed two feature films, including Universal Pictures’ “Icemaker,” claimed the new company’s website already is receiving 20,000 hits per day.
The next product planned will be the “Dingleberry Bonds,” about which Gaz said that any resemblance to baseball star Barry Bonds “is purely coincidental.” The new company has not been targeted by legal action thus far, according to Gaz.
“We’ve been very fortunate so far, but I imagine we will [have legal problems],” Gaz said. “We’ve researched this and the right to parody is one of our freedoms in this lovely country. We’re trying to keep it all in good fun and we’re not trying to slander anybody. We’re just trying to poke fun at people who have been making butt plugs out of themselves in the media.”
The products are manufactured by Celebritybuttplugs.com and although distributors have been in contact, Gaz said the company wants to keep distribution in-house. The company also hired the mold makers and is not affiliated with any other adult company.
“The adult novelty part is fully functional, safe and made out of top quality rubber,” Gaz said. “However, that’s almost a secondary thing. For us, it’s more the humor aspect, although I imagine there will be people who use them.”
