Ferrara, most recently employed by Red Light District, joins Evil Angel’s stable of producers/directors that includes Rocco Siffredi and Christoph Clark, both of whom he has worked for as a performer.

“Manuel has been on [Evil Angel owner John Stagliano’s] radar for a long time,” Evil Angel Vice President of Operations Chris Norman told XBiz. “He has watched Manuel develop as an artist and a creator of porn and felt he was at the right stage in his career to join Evil Angel.”

Norman said Ferrara will produce one movie per month for Evil Angel, all gonzo, beginning with the tentatively titled “Evilution.”

Norman added that the deal is open ended and Ferrara also is free to continue performing for other companies.

“We don’t tie down our directors,” he said. “They all own their own products, and should they ever become dissatisfied, they should be able to leave. Of course, we try to keep them happy.”
