Report: U.K. Porn Star Carla Mai Pushed to Her Death

LONDON — Carla Mai, the British porn star who died yesterday, suffered fatal head injuries after she was allegedly pushed out of a first-floor apartment window a week earlier in Brighton, according to a report in The Sun.

Mai was rushed to hospital after landing on an adjacent patio during what The Sun described as “a drug-fueled party.” She spent a week in the intensive care unit after the Brighton accident and succumbed to head injuries yesterday.

The Sun said that a 28-year-old Brighton man was arrested following the incident on suspicion of attempted murder at the apartment, which overlooks Brighton’s beach. A woman also was charged at the scene with suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

Described as a “fun loving feisty character,” Mai, 27, was a fetish performer and webcam star who started her adult career as a dancer at the Spearmint Rhino in London and had dozens of adult credits to her name with such studios as Joy Bear Pictures, Filly Films, Pure XXX Films, DDF Network and Porno Dan Presents.
