Eurowebtainment Supports ASACP in Vienna

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) announced today that its work on behalf of the online adult industry will be highlighted at this year’s Eurowebtainment event Nov. 10-13 in Vienna.

According to its promoters, Eurowebtainment is Europe’s leading B2B trade event for interactive entertainment companies operating in the Internet, telecommunications and SAT/Web-TV markets.

This year’s event marks its 18th meeting and is being held at the Marriott Hotel in Vienna.

The program features seminars, speeches and presentations along with networking opportunities and two special events: “Mobilewebtainment” and “Infotainment.”

“The Eurowebtainment meeting is known as the most important business event of its kind in Europe and we are pleased to help represent ASACP at this event,” a Eurowebtainment representative said.

He added, “Key players in the industry meet in a professional B2B environment to exchange business content and business ideas. Networking takes place in a relaxing atmosphere, while interesting presentations and VIP parties enhance this special business event.”

ASACP CEO Joan Irvine thanked her organization’s sponsors and Eurowebtainment for their support and said, “Understanding that ASACP is a nonprofit organization with a limited budget and therefore unable to attend every conference, the Eurowebtainment organizers have consistently volunteered to represent ASACP at its events.”

Included in its support, Eurowebtainment will promote ASACP on its website, in its show guide, and via its email newsletter, which reaches approximately 15,000 company representatives.

“Their support greatly helps us to educate people about ASACP and the adult industry’s efforts to protect children on an international level,” Irvine said.

For its part, ASACP is reaching out to an ever-broader international audience, offering English, French, German and Spanish versions of its website.

Companies interested in learning how they can support ASACP in its mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment can contact Irvine at joan@asacp.org.
