Stagliano Trial Proceedings Remain Closed

WASHINGTON — The jury selection process for the obscenity trial of John Stagliano continues behind closed doors Monday morning.

Judge Richard J. Leon once again closed the proceedings to the public. If the jury is seated during the morning’s session, opening statements could begin at 2 p.m. today.

Director of "Milk Nymphos," Jay Sin, was seen outside the courtroom this morning. Sin said he hadn’t been scheduled to testify as a witness in the trial.

After Judge Leon rejected the defense’s request to call Dr. Constance Penley and Dr. Lawrence Sank as expert witnesses on Friday, the defense has not scheduled to call any other witnesses.
