Gay Amateur Performer Sentenced to Prison

PHILADELPHIA — Taleon Goffney has received four to eight years in state prison for committing a burglary in Dec. 2007. He was sentenced Nov. 18 while awaiting trial with his twin, Keyontyli, on additional burglary and conspiracy charges. As Keyon and Teyon, the siblings performed for several gay adult online companies, and appeared in the film “Marc and the Twins,” which was distributed online.

In June, “the twins were arrested by the tri-state Rooftop Burglary Task Force, after a string of more than 40 rooftop burglaries in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”

Further, the twins’ mother, Towana Goffney, was arrested and charged with serving as a lookout for her sons during at least one South Philadelphia burglary.

She and Keyontyli are free on bail; Taleon Goffney has remained in custody since his arrest in April.

Taleon, 26, has earned a “notorious” rep among local police “for his skill at escaping,” according to a newspaper account.

“While handcuffed in the back seat of a police cruiser, he smashed out the rear window with his head and dove out of the moving car. He ran off, before jumping into a nearby pond.”

According to reports, he taunted police as he swam away, calling “you’ll never catch me.”

Before receiving his sentence, Goffney expressed remorse to Common Pleas Judge Michael Erdos.

Assistant District Attorney Smitha Vermuri argued that Goffney “had had opportunities to take responsibilities for his actions but instead has made a career out of this type of behavior.”

Judge Erdos agreed and called Goffney “a repeat, multistate, equal-opportunity offender who committed crimes while on probation, while awaiting sentencing and while awaiting trial.”
