BeefCakeStudio.com Launches ‘Playgirl’-Styled Site

LOS ANGELES — Male eye candy site BeefCakeStudio.com is now open for business with the launch of its site, which features 20-year-old contract model Brad Davis.

According to site owner Allen Edwards, the inspiration for the “Playgirl”-styled site came from his interest in similar sites.

“I’m a fan of those sites,” Edwards told XBIZ. “But I wanted a better concept. I wanted to focus on the essence of the men, to make it upscale and classy.”

Davis, who Edwards selected as the site’s contract model and icon, will help communicate that image, according to Edwards.

"Brad is the epitome of the hot and hunky guy next door,” Edwards said. “He has amazing blue eyes, a physique to die for, and he is the perfect choice to be the icon of our new site. He has already completed several photo shoots and a video for us, with more shoots scheduled throughout the summer."

The site will feature nude and clothed-male models in pictures and videos — solo, eye candy and behind-the-scenes shoots. Edwards sees the site appealing to a gay, bisexual and straight female audience. A new model will be featured each month.

Edwards plans to have the members section up and running within the month and sees additional revenue opportunities in a calendar, which he will release in time for the holidays, and a DVD compilation of the site’s most popular models. If all goes well, Edwards said that he would build a site — with an affiliate program — around a particularly popular model.

In addition to looking at pictures and videos, users can post comments about the models in a feedback forum, chat with other members and read articles on fitness and grooming.
