Treasure Island's New Tech Team Includes Former Hacker

SAN FRANCISCO — Treasure Island Media has announced a new team of web engineers that includes a hacker who formerly downloaded the company's content for free.

The new team has been created to help bolster the company's push into web-based porn. And one of the members is Justin Jay, a former hacker who was brought up on charges by the company and then later hired as CTO after Treasure Island dropped the case.

Also part of the tech duo is Jake Jackson, an IT whiz who has been offered a full scholarship to Harvard University's computer science masters program.

Dubbed "Team JJ" by Treasure Island general manager Matt Mason, the duo has already chalked up a list of accomplishments including the upgrade of Treasure Island Video to TIMPASS, which bundles TIMFuck.com, TIMSuck.com and TIMJack.com; the Integration of the Limelight (CMS) content management system for its streaming services; the addition of multiple foreign languages to the T.I.M. store with a fan translation component; blog updates; and the addition of FuckRoulette.com and Jack Cam to company membership sites.

“We couldn’t be happier about Team JJ,” Mason said. “Their vast understanding of today’s warp-speed social media is a perfect fit for our reputation as the fastest growing producer of all-male entertainment.”

The company said it was introduced to Jay while they were pressing charges against him for coding an impressive hack that allowed him to download its porn for free.

During the trial, Treasure Island began to understand the nature of Jay’s talents and, against the advice of their general counsel, decided to drop all charges and offer him a position as its new CTO.

Jackson accepted an internship with Treasure Island where he audited the previous IT team in coding and analytics and after one week fired the IT department for inefficiency problems.

The company said "the changes will go deeper as Team JJ plans to bring all of T.I.M.’s web content into version 2.0."

Cusomers can expect a new, more interactive website as well as a VIP Program for longtime fans and returning customers designed to provide exclusive deals.

Also on tap is a new interactive personals section, a new affiliate program and a new model application process.

“People might not consider IT to be the sexiest part of any company,” Mason said, “but from our point of view the new webteam is the pleasure center at T.I.M.”
