Raging Stallion Sweeps Noms for GayVN Awards

SAN FRANCISCO — Raging Stallion Studios received 20 nominations for the 2010 GayVn awards, the Oscars of gay porn.

The studio’s film "Focus/ReFocus" grabbed nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. The company says this is the third year in a row that Raging Stallion’s “big” movie of the year has received this many nominations.

Raging Stallion has won Best Picture for the past two years in a row for "Grunts" in 2007 and "To The Last Man," last year.

Directed by Tony Dimarco, Ben Leon and Chris Ward, "Focus/ReFocus" is the top grossing film so far of 2010, according to the company.

The Best Actor nod went to Cole Streets, Best Supporting Actor went to Steve Cruz. The movie also received a nomination for Best Group Scene and Best Videography.

Several other RSS films received nominations as well, including the summer smash hit "Tales of the Arabian Nights" for Best All Sex Film.

Alexsander Freitas and Derrek Diamond were nominated for Best Sex Scene for their scene in "Diamond Auto." Logan McCree won a nod for Best Actor for his role as the alien scientist who comes to Earth to study sex in "The Visitor."

Two of Raging Stallion’s associated companies, Hard Friction and Stag Homme, also took home numerous nominations.

“We are really thrilled to receive these nominations this year,” company President Chris Ward said.

“Our actors and our crew really put a lot of work into these movies and the result was a year of great achievements. All of us are honored to be in this list of great nominations. With so many great studios and actors out there, it’s a real complement to be singled out this strongly.”
