DominicFord, Robert Van Damme Tout 3D Team-Up

NEW YORK and HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Bodybuilder Robert Van Damme and pro/am, 3D website DominicFord.com have announced a series of collaborations between their respective boutique labels.

Both companies have been in existence for roughly one year. DominicFord is the only all-male company offering 3D content and recently wrapped a series of shoots in Europe featuring local talent. They are currently in post on a 3D spoof of the "Harry Potter" books and films.

Van Damme recently announced he would take distribution of his RVD Films label in-house. Recent blue movies include the "Private Party" three-part series.

The first project in their partnership is "a jointly produced DVD featuring Van Damme in an extended scene with bodybuilder Skye Woods, which Dominic Ford and Van Damme co-directed," a site rep said.

Woods is known for his massively muscular physique and his film work for COLT Studio. The vignette with Van Damme was recently filmed on location on Fire Island. It is streaming now in both 2D and 3D versions and will appear on DVD later this year.

Van Damme additionally has a featured role — a duo with performer Cameron Adams — in the "Harry Potter" spoof.

Additional collaborations are on the boards.

"Working with Dominic has been fun and exciting," Van Damme said. "He is truly a visionary and a pioneer in our industry. He is constantly challenging himself to push the envelope and I am glad we are working together. The scenes we have shot so far are hot and I can't wait to see them in 3D."

Ford notes he first met Van Damme earlier this summer in Chicago at the International Mr. Leather convention. "We were actually afraid to talk to him because he is such a huge star and no one knew who we were at the time. Working with him has been a dream and a pleasure. He’s a stellar guy."
