Bel Ami Studs Twitter U.S. Promo Swing

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — All-male studio Bel Ami is set to tub-thump its website redesign and recent awards nominations with a U.S. promotional tour featuring Twitter updates posted by company exclusives Dolph Lambert and Luke Hamill.

Bel Ami recently earned two XBIZ Awards nominations for GLBT Web Studio of the Year and GLBT Studio of the Year. Last month the studio's online division won the Surfer's Choice Cybersocket Web Award for Best European Theme Adult Site.

The publicity tour featuring Hamill and Lambert will begin in San Francisco later this month with a number of promo appearances tied to the GAYVN Awards.

The performers will headline a party at 440 Castro nightclub on March 27 where they will press the flesh, sign autographs and pose for photos.

A publicity rep told XBIZ the website revamp is part of an ongoing evolution of Bel Ami's image and represents "a massive expansion of the company to give our fans the best possible online experience."

To hype the upgrades, the company has launched a giveaway contest via its newly launched Twitter account. Fans are invited to complete and tweet the phrase "I love Bel Ami because…" by March 28. The top 15 entries, as determined by Bel Ami staffers, will receive a free DVD.

"Bel Ami has received lots of attention this awards season, so we thought this would be a good way to connect with fans — by inviting them to view this trip to California through the eyes of a Bel Ami boy," a company rep told XBIZ.

Lambert and Hamill will tweet updates and post photos throughout their adventures in the U.S.
