PornstarID App Makes Beta Debut

PRAGUE — PornstarID has announced that a beta version of their identification app for adult performers is now available.

“PornstarID is a new real-time porn star identification app which was launched Sept. 15 for the public,” a spokesperson for PornstarID said. “The current version is beta, with only 596 models which the algorithm is able to detect. Over 218,000 images were used in order to train the DNN for those 596 models.”

The app uses facial recognition technology to identify adult performers. According to the Czech Republic-based PornStar ID, “The final version (of the app) will be able to recognize over 20,000 adult performers and is currently in development.”

Sarah Vandella, Romi Rain, Adriana Chechik, Jennifer White, Lexi Belle, Ash Hollywood, Nikki Benz, Sunny Leone, Phoenix Marie, Sarah Luvv, Allie Haze and Aidra Fox are among the 596 adult performers the app has identified so far. To view a complete list, visit this link.

“PornstarID uses a deep neural network to represent or embed the face on a 128-dimensional unit hypersphere,” a spokesperson said. “The embedding is a generic representation for anybody's face.”
