25% of British Men Use Mobile Phones for Porn

LONDON — One in four British men use their smartphones to access porn, according to a new survey by LG Electronics.

The study was done by LG to mark the launch of its Optimus 3D Android handset that combines typical smartphone features, like social networking, Internet browsing, video and mobile gaming, with 3D features like 3D YouTube videos.

More than 25 percent of Brits use their device for adult entertainment and one in six men admitted that they flirt with “potential partners” even if they’re in exclusive relationships. And 20 percent said they’d be embarrassed by something they have stored on their phone, half of which said they are “racy photos.”

British women are also using their smartphones for more than talking, with 62 percent saying they are hiding a secret text message.

The study also found that 64 percent of workers spend 34 days a year wasting time on their phones while they should be working, and are spending an hour a day playing games in the bathroom.

Alex Windle, head of LG’s marketing mobile communications said in the survey, 'LG is extremely proud of the Optimus 3D and its groundbreaking technology. For the first time, all our customers will have the ability to watch movies, play games, record, capture and share 3D content on a mobile phone.”
