Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest to Screen More Than 70 Films

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest, set to take place Sept. 15-16 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Calif., has accepted more than 70 erotic films to be screened at the two-day event.

Film clips to be screened at the festival include award-winning shorts from major film festivals, submissions from the adult entertainment industry and the premiere of “Llik Your Idols” featuring Lydia Lunch, Thurston Moore, Richard Kern and Nick Zedd.

Award winning films include “Extra Action,” directed by Richard Kern, the West Coast premieres of “Liberty in Restraint” and Felipe Barbosa’s “Salt Kiss,” and the rare, erotic animated classics “Buried Treasure” and “Cupid Gets His Man.”

Submissions from the adult entertainment industry include clips from noted directors Ethan Kane, Eon McKai, Venus Hottentot, Justin Kane, Joanna Angel, Joe Gallant and Roy Karch.

Angel’s not-yet-released “Not Another Porn Movie” debuts at the festival, as well.

CineKink has partnered with the LAEFF to work together in searching out the best new erotic cinema. The lineup of films to be screened includes all awards winners from CineKink’s most recent festival.

“For the festival’s first year we concentrated on providing the audience some real ringers; films that have attained a kind of pedigree and arthouse respectability,” LAEFF Program Director Roger Mayer said. “On the flip side, there are several submissions that came from left field, especially some wonderful regional and international films from such disparate places as Tennessee, the Netherlands and Brazil.”

The full list of accepted films, a schedule of the entire weekend’s activities and ticket purchasing information can be found at EroticaFilmFest.com.
