Tri-Tech, Sex.com to Offer Live Cams

LOS ANGELES — Tri-Tech Industries and Escom LLC have announced an agreement to develop a webcam platform for a soon-to-be launched webcam channel on Sex.com.

According to the company, the technology, which will allow for two-way communication along with pay-to-view functionality, will be a driving force in how people visually communicate on Sex.com

"This has been an exciting project and I'm looking forward to seeing the final outcome," Tri-Tech CEO Jack G. said. "Working with Del and Sex.com is a win-win situation."

"Working with Jack, Dave and the team at Tri-Tech on this project will be a pleasure," Escom CEO Del Anthony said. "They have built a hugely successful company and the reasons have become obvious to me. They have met our needs as outlined, and in the end their webcam platform will fit perfectly into the long term strategy for our community."

According to Anthony, the Sex.com cam program is a great fit into the website's open concept community, which is similar to that of iFriends.com.

"The new system offers a full gamut of chat services, where users have the option of putting their name out there to make use of our premium features and charging for their time, or of chatting with other members for free," Anthony told XBIZ. "But with a name like Sex.com, we expect that traditional adult video chat will account for most of the use; although the community will sort that out for itself."

Tri-Tech, which operates the Internet's number one AVS site CyberAge.com, views the partnership with Escom as just a first step in garnering a large slice of the adult webcam market. The company also will create an affiliate program with the technology in addition to dedicated sites like AmateurCams.com and CamsNetwork.com.

"I like the direction Del is taking Sex.com," Tri-Tech VP David D, aka CyberAge Dave, said. "It's not every day you get a phone call asking you to be involved in one of the world's most typed-in domain names."

While recruiting models is one of the biggest challenges that companies face when trying to develop their own chat programs, Anthony believes that these two companies have the traffic resources to provide performers with an incentive to join the new network.

"With the amount of traffic that CyberAge and Sex.com will deliver to this network," Anthony told XBIZ. "It will be a great opportunity for our performers and affiliates."

Prior to launching the platform in December, Tri-Tech is offering the first 1,000 webcam models who sign up on Sex.com a free webcam, along with priority search results, email blast to millions of CyberAge members and main page search rotation on these websites.

Models seeking to join the community can contact cams@sex.com for more details.
