"The store has been having workshops, seminars and guest speakers since it opened five years ago," Smitten Kitten Lead Sex Educator Clare Jacky told XBIZ. "We're trying to extend into an educational realm where people from the industry and also community members can come and teach, linking toy sales with the expression of sexuality and education. Not just being a business but a community place."
Sex educator Deborah Sundahl will present a workshop on female ejaculation and the G-spot. Sundahl has produced educational videos and is author of the book "Female Ejaculation and the G-spot." The seminar is scheduled for Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.
Adult filmmaker, artist and author Madison Young will be leading two workshops. "DIY Porn: Make your own porn and make waves in feminism one orgasm at a time" will take place on Oct. 18, and "The Tail of a Bondage Model," a reading from Young's new book, will take place on Oct. 19.
