LOS ANGELES — Adult film star Trina Michaels has decided to forgo her adult career to become a professional wrestler.

On her MySpace profile, she tells fans that she “will be gone for a while” but isn’t quite ready to call it a retirement.

“I’ve been a wrestling fan for eight years and over the past year I have meet some really cool people in the WWE, Total NonStop Action and several local promotions,” she said in a statement. Some of her wrestling videos can be viewed on her YouTube channel.

“I’ve been training for three months so far and I am about to take the training to the next level,” Michaels added. “I hope my fans will follow me in my journey into wrestling and I promise, I will kick ass.”

Before she leaves in November to train on the East Coast, Trina plans to squeeze in as much as possible in the adult industry, from scenes to feature dancing.

Production companies can book Trina in some of her final scenes by contacting Lisa Ann at LisaAnnsTalentManagement.com.
