XBIZ ‘State of the Industry’ Conference ’09 Set for Feb. 10-12 in Woodland Hills

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — XBIZ Conference ’09 today announced dates for its upcoming premier industry trade event, which will take place Feb 10-12, at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills.

Located at the epicenter of adult entertainment, the 3-day networking event will bring together professionals from around the globe for a focused line-up of engaging events and activities that explore the current and future state of the fast-changing adult industry.

In designing an industry conference that delivers an introspective examination of the status of adult entertainment, organizers have crafted a result-oriented program that will emphasize both major issues as well as the needs of individual areas of the business.

This will be accomplished through a two-track agenda of seminars and workshops that address the ongoing needs of this dynamic industry. Combined with a schedule that highlights networking, deal making and branding, all in a highly accessible and hospitable venue built for business, XBIZ Conference ’09 will accentuate knowledge and success.

“As the business evolves, so do we,” XBIZ founder and publisher Alec Helmy said. “The move to Woodland Hills puts us closer to where we want to be, which is smack in the heart of the industry we serve. This show has one mission only: to successfully address the needs of an industry whose challenges and opportunities have never been greater and their business decisions more critical — and we look forward to once again creating a peerless business environment for our attendees and sponsors.”

XBIZ Associate Publisher Kristen Kaye agreed, adding that hosting a State of the Industry conference closer to where so much of the business is done — and in a venue that’s never been more welcome to adult — strengthens XBIZ’s goal.

“We plan to truly set a new standard in the New Year,” Kaye said. “Every attendee will arrive curious and leave fulfilled and prepared for everything 2009 holds in store for our industry.”

Also, the “not to be missed” 8th annual XBIZ Awards will once again rock the house in conjunction with the XBIZ Conference. The awards show will be held Thursday, Feb. 12 in Hollywood, Calif.

Registration will be FREE to all who checked in at the recent XBIZ Summer ’08 Forum July 9-11. For all new attendees, registration will be $200, which will grant them FREE access to the next XBIZ Summer ’09 Forum in Las Vegas.
