Software From New Star Puts Fans in Adult Videos

LOS ANGELES — New Star Productions has announced that it will be showcasing its new software program that allows a user to put their image into video scenes with their favorite adult performer.

By using a webcam and scripted dialogue, the user will be able to create content that can be uploaded to a video and, in effect, create a customized video clip.

The company calls its new entertainment-based software program XXX-Movieoke.

Users will be able to download the software program at PornStarDiscovery.com, which is slated to launch Nov. 1.

NSP executive producer Def explained how the process would work for users once they’ve downloaded the software.

“First, the consumers choose a clip and uses a credit card to download it for $9.99,” Def told XBIZ. “The clip has karaoke lines for them to follow along with, so they know what to say. Then they click record and record as many takes as they want. After the take is saved, consumers just click a button and put themselves into the scene.”

Def said that he and the company will be in Los Angeles from Sept. 15-23 performing demonstrations of the XXX-Movieoke software and meeting with adult companies that wish to promote and sell the software. He added that webmasters can customize the technology for their particular website.

“If someone wanted to, they would be able to place their images on the body of Ron Jeremy or any of the other actual actors or actresses in a scene,” Def said. “If there’s a guy that wants to show off to his friends, he could put his face over someone who’s having sex with Jenna Jameson, for example, and show his friends a video of himself having sex with Jameson.”

New Star will be filming original clips in Los Angeles Sept. 20-23 that it plans to use in its upcoming Porn Star Discovery contest. Contestants will be able to access the clips on the Porn Star Discovery website, and submit the customized videos as entries.

“NSP created the contest to introduce the XXX-Movieoke software to the adult industry,” NSP head mistress and adult starlet Zoe Britton said. “NSP plans on utilizing Porn Star Discovery to find the newest and hottest talent for future New Star adult productions.”

The Porn Star Discovery contest will be launched mid-November at an official party in Los Angeles.

Britton and adult industry icon Ron Jeremy will host the contest.

“We can’t pump it into you enough, the only way to enter our contest is to purchase and perform in one of the PornStarDiscovery.com clips and then post it to a personal Casting Page on our PornStarDiscovery.com website.” Jeremy said. “Viewers will watch and vote on each performance and those who get the most votes will win a contract with NSP to star in one of our future productions.”

Def said that New Star is actively recruiting adult companies to sublicense the XXX-Movieoke technology.

"We are looking to expand our customer base by examining every possible avenue in order to bring our products to as wide an audience as possible,” Def said. “One way of doing this is by allowing new partners to promote our XXX-Movieoke software in a sublicensing capacity.”
