Tera Patrick Promises Booble Loot to Charity

VAN NUYS, Calif. — As the race for Booble Girl of the Year winds down and tightens up, starlet and Booble Girl contender Tera Patrick has announced that, if she wins, she will donate the $5,000 cash prize to B.A.B.E., the Breast Awareness Benefits Everyone women’s charity.

“Winning Booble Girl of the Year would be a great honor, but I wanted to do something special with the cash prize,” Patrick told XBIZ. “B.A.B.E. is a wonderful organization and I can’t think of a better group to donate the money. After all, we all love breasts and if I am named Booble Girl of the Year, then I want the money to go to a group dedicated to protecting breasts and women's health issues.”

Fans can cast online votes for any of the 12 contestants until September 1 at the Booble website.

Within the last several weeks, the contest has narrowed to a showdown between Patrick and starlet Vicky Vette, according to website founder Booble Bob.

“It’s kind of an amazing thing because you’ve got a 43-year old, self-made Internet starlet, so to speak, going up against someone who is arguably the biggest porn star in the world,” Booble Bob told XBIZ. “They’ve been going back and forth in a very dramatic contest where they both have mobilized tremendously large fan bases and it has led to an unprecedented number of votes, which — of course — is very gratifying for us.”

“I don’t know who’s going to win, but I know both contestants well, and think that either one would be a fantastic Girl of the Year for us, and I am very gratified to hear that Tera would give her money to charity. We’ve worked with that charity before and we’re big fans,” Booble Bob added. “Needless to say, breast preservation is a key interest of ours.”

Vette was not immediately available to provide commentary when reached via email.

Other contestants for Booble Girl of the Year are Nikki Benz , Catalina Cruz, Sophie Dee, Sabrina Deep, Hanna Hilton, Heidi Mayne, Trina Michaels, Mariah Milano, Shyla Stylez and Brandy Talore.

Contestants are chosen from the Booble Girl of the Month winners, who appear on the adult search engine site throughout the year. The reigning Booble Girl of the Year is Lisa Sparxxx.

B.A.B.E. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and women’s health issues. The organization holds its annual “Babes and Aces” poker tournament and other fundraising events to benefit several other resource organizations, including Westside Family Health Center, Los Angeles; Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia; and the nationwide "Check ‘Em Don’t Neglect ‘Em" Campaign.

B.A.B.E. also has been adult-friendly in its fund-raising efforts and often taps adult celebrities to promote its charity work. For more information, visit the website.
