SexToy.com Adds Information, Humor Blogs to Relaunched Site

LOS ANGELES — Online retailer SexToy.com has revamped its website, adding three blogs consisting of product reviews, adult humor and press information.

"Our main goal with this new site is to use its original content to help us climb back to the top in search engine ranking," SexToy.com owner Dave Levine said. "In order to attract more traffic to SexToy.com, we decided to focus on unique content from three blogs.

"We have gone from the top of the search engines to the bottom, back to the top, and down again," Levine said. "Our goal is to remain at the top."

Levine said that creating original content would drive consumer interest in the site, which is currently 95 percent webmaster affiliates and wholesale customers.

Consumers can find new detailed product reviews on the site and add their own comments and product reviews to one of the new blog pages.

The SexToy Humor blog offers video clips, drawings and pictures. Levine added this feature to share items he has received from consumers.

"There are so many funny pictures and videos related to sex toys out on the Internet," Levine said. "We thought this would be a good place to aggregate all that content."

Another page features press coverage of SexToy.com and company press releases.

Established in 1995, SexToy.com carries more than 25,000 products for men and women, including lingerie, vibrators, condoms and adult movies. In the next six months Levine plans to increase offerings to 50,000 adult products.
